The Regional Final is to take place:
Saturday 24 April 2010 at University of Manchester Sports Grounds, Willenhall Road, Wythenshawe, Manchester, M23 0BD.
Teams from 12 counties will be competing and the top scoring team going through to the English National Final on either Saturday 8 May or Sunday 9 May venue TBC. The UK final will be held on Sunday 16 May 2010 at The Reebok Stadium, Bolton.

PRESTON NORTH END - TESCO CUP

Preston U14s beat Academy U14s 4-3 in the Final on 19th January 2010. After taking an early lead the girls never went behind in the game but, due to some very nervy defending, they seemed to try and make it as nail-biting as possible for the spectators. Full credit to Academy Girls for some stout defending and never giving up on the attack. As this match was the first for circa 5 weeks with no outdoor training both teams deserve a lot of credit for their performance.
The next patowards the end of April for the Regional Finals at the Wythenshawe pitches of the Manchester Uni.rt of the Tesco competition is.                         Preston go  forward to represent the County in the National Tesco Cup competition later in the season. Last season's winners, Manchester City Ladies, represented Lancashire and went on to be crowned UK champions.
